Re: Looking for a local printer

My neighbour works for a print shop in O Sound. I’ll ask her.

Re: Birds

Would you like some young roosters (haha, hardly anyone wants those)? I’m giving away four month-old purebred Cream Crested Legbar roos because my birds need clearing out of the shared barn and they are unlikely to sell. They are definitely roos, as Legbars are autosexing at hatch. Super laid back l...

Re: Trapping a raccoon

It’s been a while with predator problems at the rented farm share, and I have a few observations that are pretty basic, but are perhaps worth mentioning for any newbie who has the same problem. We easily caught the first raccoon, second try. I just covered the trigger plate so it wasn’t obvious; it ...

Leo, are you building at your place? Our kids can join in if you like. Gavin might take some persuading, but anything your boys are doing he will probably agree to. Nicola is more of a demolition type, but she might get quite excited once she understands what is going on. Paul and I aren’t experts i...

Trapping a raccoon

Hi everyone, this is where I could post a message, so here goes: best method of raccoon trapping, please? Currently attempting with a live trap and bait, and it snuck the bait without springing the door, clever beast. It’s probably after the barn chicks, but we can’t keep the doors closed. I’d shoot...
